Cinema!

Recently, I was in the cinema with my friends on "The Shutter Island". I liked it. It was perfect. So, It's 1954, and up-and-coming U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Boston's Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital. He's been pushing for an assignment on the island for personal reasons, but before long he wonders whether he hasn't been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister. Teddy's shrewd investigating skills soon provide a promising lead, but the hospital refuses him access to records he suspects would break the case wide open. As a hurricane cuts off communication with the mainland, more dangerous criminals "escape" in the confusion, and the puzzling, improbable clues multiply, Teddy begins to doubt everything - his memory, his partner, even his own sanity. This film it was very difficult to understand and psyhological. But, I think that everyone should go to the cinema and watch this work of the cinema! :)
Some Like It Hot XD

I would like to tell you about one of my favourite films, it's a Some like it hot. Some Like It Hot is a 1959 comedy film directed by Billy Wilder and starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. In 2000, the American Film Institute listed Some Like It Hot as the greatest American comedy film of all time. The film is about Two struggling musicians, Joe and Jerry ,witness what looks like the Saint Valentine's Day massacre of 1929. When the Chicago gangsters, directed by 'Spats' Columbo see them, the duo flee for their lives. They escape and decide to leave town, disguising themselves as women to play in an all-girl musical band headed to Florida. Calling themselves Josephine and Geraldine (later Jerry changes his pseudonym to Daphne), they join the band and board a train. Joe and Jerry both become enamored of "Sugar Kane" (Marilyn Monroe), the band's vocalist and ukulele player, and struggle for her affection while maintaining their disguises. In my opinion is the best comedy in the world!!! :dhttp://trilogy.brynmawr.edu/guides/upload/pics/868/some_like_it_hot.jpg
Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was an American actress, singer, and model. She is a American of Norwegian descent and comes from a Norwegian American family. After spending much of her childhood in foster homes, Monroe began a career as a model, which led to a film contract in 1946. Her early roles were minor, but her performances in The Asphalt Jungle and All About Eve were well received. Monroe was praised for her comedic ability in such films as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, How to Marry a Millionaire, Some Like It Hot and The Seven Year Itch.

The typecasting of Monroe's "dumb blonde" persona limited her career prospects, so she broadened her range. She studied at the Actors Studio and formed Marilyn Monroe Productions. Her dramatic performance in Bus Stop was hailed by critics, and she won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Some Like it Hot.

The final years of Monroe's life were marked by illness, personal problems, and a reputation for being unreliable and difficult to work with. The circumstances of her death, from an overdose of barbiturates, have been the subject of conjecture. Though officially classified as a "probable suicide", the possibility of an accidental overdose, as well as the possibility of homicide, have not been ruled out. In 1999, Monroe was ranked as the sixth greatest female star of all time by the American Film Institute.
