WHO Are YOU?

Hello!
Over last few days I have been thinking about the people who use this website.

I assume that most of us want to improve and master English. How long have you been on this website? How do you use it? How often?
What section of www.e-ang.pl do you click on?
Are you making progress with learning new words? Did you add your private words?

I would like to share my personal experience with e-ang.pl, regarding words.

I have been here for almost 3 years and I have learnt around 75% of words from the "vocabulary" section so far. In addition I have added 30 sets of my private words and expressions. When I come across a new word or expression I look it up in my "paper" dictionary. I check new stuff on www.diki.pl as well so I would like to recommend this online dictionary.
diki

Check it out because you will learn new things and know how to use it correctly.

The funny thing with learning new words is that almost every time when I memorize a certain word then on the same day or day after I see it on the Internet, or in some English book or magazine or hear it in a movie.
I think to myslef: Ohh, yeah..it has been worth learning it. Even though it is not common word, for instance: discombobulate. In the begining you may think: o.k. it sounds interesting, kind of weird. But will I hear it or use it in the future?
By the way, according to www.thefreedictionary.com discombobulate means "To throw into a state of confusion".

So, what about you? Could you be so kind and share your experience? Maybe you have some useful tips or thoughts about this website. If you don't have better things to do this long weekend maybe you can sit down in front of your computer and tell me: Who are you?

Enjoy your weekend and take care!
