I'd like introduce you the best site with e-books that I've already found.

To download books you have to:
1. Be familiar with Russian:) or switch the language option of the site into English version.
2. Log in - it's necessary to be able to download.
3. Schearch for book that we ae interested in.
4. Read the terms of use to be aware of piracy and stuffs like that.
5. Begin a download - I recommend you ifile or z-share download because rapidshare one is not always avialable for free users.
that's it! I have to finish now and go to my lectures:/

Today's link comes from englishbanana.com. There are plenty of free and copyable worksheets for different level students. My favourite are series of Talk a lot books which I found very helpful with my oral MATURA exam.

I woke up in the morning and thought " Hurray it's Suturday and now I have the time to catch up with everything that I was supposed to do during the week." But as usual the first thing that I did was to switch on my coputer... Then, I mean after dinner my BF came and we were sitting and do nothing... To sum up, another day of my life has just been wasted. hmmm how do I feel now? I feel like everything has no sense to me. But tomorrow everything will change I hope :)

Check out the Logo Library website where you can find multilingual novels, technical literature and translated texts from all over the world. Using the library sources is completely for free and you don't even have to be logged in! All you have to do is to click on the icon of language (i.e. English)in which you want to read the books. Moreover, you are able to download all of them as an e-book file.

Pronunciation of plural s endings

Check out your knowledge about the correct pronunciation of plural s endings.

NOTES:
1.When a noun ends in a sound of unvoiced consonant (spółgłoska bezdzwięczna) like /p t k f θ/ the plural ending is pronounced as /s/

a. /p/ - cups
b. /t/ - hats
c. /k/ - cooks
d /f/ - cliffs
e. /θ/ - myths

Note that the rule is about sounds not letters!
we say /s/ at the and of nouns like laughs -->/f/

2. When a noun ends in a sound of voiced consonant (spółgłoska dżwieczna)or a vovel(samogłoska)the plural ending is pronounced as
/z/

a. /b/ - crabs
b. /d/ - cards
c. /g/ - rugs
d. /v/ - gloves
e. /m/ - plums
f. /n/ - fans
g. /η/ - kings
h. /l/ - deals
i. /r/ - tears
j. /ð/ - clothes

3. When the verb ends in /s z ∫ s∫ d3 3/, the third person singular ending is pronounced
/Iz/. With these s-type sounds, the /Iz/ is needed for the ending to be heard.

a. /s/ - races, boxes
b. /z/ - pauses
c. /∫/ - dishes
d. /3/ - garages
e. /d3/ - ages, judges

I've just attached a new link to Freelang site http://www.freelang.net/dictionary/index.phpfrom which you can download free dictionaries. Of course, there is an English- Polish dict but there are many more! Besides that one that I mentioned above my favourie dicts are: Eng- Japanese,Old English, Cornish, Welsh, Latin, GOTHIC, and German. Did you like the website? Which of those dictionaries are your top ones?

I decided to give you some useful links that help you to practice your language skills. Today's link comes from the bbc site and contains a lot of interesting reports prepered especially for language learners. To every report are attached files to download with a tanscription and an audio file. Additionally, at the bottom of the site you the can find english to english translation of the most important words the report includes.
